We're married!

We tied the knot on August 15, 2025, in a small courthouse ceremony that felt true to us, and our hearts are so full. While we didn’t have a big wedding, we still wanted a way to share this joy with all the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for celebrating with us from near or far; it means the world to us.

The City

Spokane is the vibrant heart of Eastern Washington, nestled along the Spokane River and named for the Spokane Tribe—meaning “Children of the Sun.” Founded as a trading post in 1810 and officially incorporated in 1881, the city blends natural beauty with historic charm. It's known for its lilacs, Riverfront Park’s stunning waterfalls, and quirky claims to fame like being “Hooptown USA” thanks to hosting the world’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament. From its turn-of-the-century mansions to Expo ’74 landmarks, Spokane wears its history with pride while embracing growth and innovation.

The Ceremony

The Spokane County Courthouse is a government building home to numerous Spokane County offices such as those of the assessor, auditor and clerk, as well as courtrooms for the Spokane County Superior Court. The courthouse was built in 1895 in the French Renaissance revival and Châteauesque styles, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. A design contest prior to construction was won by architect Willis Ritchie. It is located in the city center, just north of the Spokane River from Downtown Spokane, in the West Central neighborhood.

Party Time

Zola opened its doors in 2007 in the historic Longbotham Building at 22 W. Main Avenue, transforming a century-old space into a vibrant, eclectic bar and music venue. Instantly recognizable thanks to its reclaimed carnival-ride booths, license-plate-tiled walls, and colorful string lights. Located in the heart of downtown Spokane, it offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that’s both funky and inviting. The menu features elevated bar food, craft cocktails, and local brews making it a crowd-pleaser for guests of all kinds.
